Steve Kim has taught music since 1974. He is associate music faculty at Shoreline Community College ,and teaches privately through South Seattle Community College.  He has served on the faculty of Pacific Luthern University, The National Guitar Workshop, The Experience Music Project ,Musicworks Northwest , The Roberts Music Institute ,and Arts In Motion . Steve draws upon his experience as a music performer , an educator, and as a student (of bassists Ray Brown, Gary Peacock and composer/pianist Charlie Banacos) to create instruction that is personal and comprehensive. Individual lessons are available for Electric and Acoustic Bass, Music Theory and Composition for $70 per one hour session.
